These keto friendly & low carb fried cheese sticks are perfect as an appetizer or even a meal! You can change the cheese types to get different flavors. In this video I used pepperjack cheese.
Dip them in marinara sauce for an even more delicious treat, but don’t forget to count those carbs!
Ingredients:
4 oz cheese
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 oz pork rinds
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Salt & Pepper to taste
Oil
Instructions:
1. Pre-heat oil to medium/high heat
2. Cut cheese into about finger sized slices
3. Add parmesan cheese to bowl
4. Crush pork rinds in a bag
5. Add pork rinds to bowl
6. Add italian seasoning
7. Add garlic powder
8. Add salt & pepper to taste
9. Use fork to crush any big chunks and mix well
10. Crack eggs into separate bowl
11. Add salt & pepper to taste
12. Dig cheese into egg wash
13. Roll cheese into parmesan cheese
14. Dip into eggs again
15. Roll in parmesan cheese again
16. Add cheese to fryer
17. When bottom half of cheese starts to turn brownish, turn to cook other side
18. Remove from fryer
19. Enjoy!
